The demonstration took place in real time: the Ratel was controlled from Canada while the robot itself was located in Kyiv. Commands were transmitted via a satellite communication link.
Thousands of kilometers separated the operator and the platform, yet the system could still be operated remotely without putting people at risk.
For Ratel Robotics, this was an important demonstration of the potential of Ukrainian defense technologies on the international stage. We continue to develop solutions that increase the distance between people and danger and transfer the most hazardous tasks to robots.
